Welcome to WordPress. This is my first post. FINALLY!
Jesus Chrysler this was a fun adventure to get to this point. Let me start at the Beginning:
- I wanted to create a blog for my existing site https://emubro.net/
- I searched for nice non-php blog frameworks – cause I hate php and especially wordpress – and played around with TinaCMS + Hugo
- Realized Tina and Hugo don’t play in the same league
- Came back to WordPress and struggled with CSS and PHP issues – big oof.
And this is how I made it:
found a nice site and thought this is the one. so I posted it to my private discord server for notes – yes I use a private Discord server for notes.
Install WordPress on Debian 11 server

I finally made it to the point I was stuck before I reinstalled Debian.
what I finally did to fix it, is removing all the php on my server with sudo apt purge php* cause I saw that someone accidentally installed php8.2 again, and then php7.4-mysqli and php7.4 – and it finally works – no joke!

php.ini file was recreated. means the relevant lines are now commented out again, why does this even works? Will keep you updated about this…
